| Wavehill worked with the client to troubleshoot and
resolve a lengthy list of user support issues.
Trend Client/Server Antivirus solution was installed
across all Servers and PCs in the LAN.
Windows Software Update Server (WSUS) was deployed
to automatically download and distribute approved Windows
Updates to the user PC's, ensuring all Microsoft Windows
Security Patches and Service packs and were always current.
An additional ADSL line was installed and user Email
and Internet traffic was separated to eliminate delays
to and from the online tracking system; also both firewalls
were also upgraded.
Trend Web Security Suite was put into place, monitoring
web site usage and protecting against Spyware and preventing
against users browsing company prohibited web sites.
The existing unstable fax solution was replaced with
GFI Faxmaker 12, integrating a fax solution into Outlook
via the Windows 2003 Active Directory.
Server monitoring software was configured to run regular
checks and to set alerts to administration should any
faults be found.
Wavehill worked with the client to document all setup
procedures and IT checklists, which eliminates the need
for constant phone calls to Wavehill for regular IT
issues.
An offsite backup solution was put into place, where
backups of Sage are automated to upload to a secure
offsite Server, meaning in the event of a disaster this
accounts data is quickly recoverable.
